I really, really wanted to do a quick post last Monday just to let you guys know how wonderful you are, but busy life got in the way as usual :( I always feel so bad when I don't post for four or five days! But enough of my whining and on to the food!!!!
I celebrated the day of love with a chocolate cherry smoothie (after all, it wouldn't be Valentine's day without some chocolate!). The smoothie was pretty tasty, but the cup that I used made it 10x better!!!
Now what's this about pizza????? Well, last Sunday, I was craving some pizza, and my craving was easily satisfied with the following amazingness (and I think the cheeze would also be a great dip for chips/raw veggies or a sauce for broccoli!)
Quick Pesto Pizza
For the cheeze:
1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
2 tablespoon greek yogurt
1/2 teaspoon low-sodium miso
Splash of water
1 tablespoon canned green chiles
For the pizza:
1 tortilla (I used a brown rice tortilla)
2 tablespoon pesto
1 cup fresh spinach
1 cup chopped broccoli
About 3/4 cup water
Directions:
For the cheeze: Combine all the ingredients until smooth. The result should look something like this:

Oh, and look what my amazing mom got me for Valentine's Day!!!!!
And I got a few requests to do a post on how to grow an avocado tree! That's such a great idea, and I'm definitely going to work on it! It should be a lot of fun!
